Earlier in the year we raised £310 pounds by holding a quiz night at Aberdeen squash Club, the proceeds from the night were given to four medical students who were spending their summer holiday working in a hospital in Uganda. The girls had great difficulty deciding what to spend the proceed on but opted for water purification devices that had been developed and manufactured locally by a Scottish Doctor and distributed to the local population free of charge.
We are delighted to announce that the Langstane Housing Association development at Denmark Street in Fraserburgh has received one of the prestigious Herald Property Awards. Douglas Fiddes has become the chairman of the RICS Dispute Resolution Faculty Construction Group. Douglas has been a member of the Group for several years and has been responsible for training RICS adjudicators.
Shirley Thomson has been admitted to the RICS Chairman’s Panel of Adjudicators following a rigorous assessment process. Another three people were admitted to the panel at the same time, two of whom are QCs. Douglas Fiddes has been a member of the Panel for several years, Baxter Dunn & Gray are the only non-specialist firm to have two panel members.
